The STEM team among the exhibitors

Among the stands at RETTMobil 2024 was also STEM, an Italian company leading in the rescue and emergency medical sector. It’s main focus is to keep the safety in emergency situations. In their space in Hall 6 (stand 604), the entire STEM team, led by company founder Ezio Menna and General Manager Michele Corradi, was fully present. With the goal to showcase the latest innovations in their catalog, including technological solutions and commercial strategies.

The highlight at STEM’s stand at the German fair was the innovative Spark System, a robotic electric stretcher with various integrated modules and supports for ambulance transport. The recent bariatric module, in its final configuration, was particularly showcased, representing a significant advancement for the needs of emergency medical crews. For all Spark series systems, the Global Service technology was also presented, introducing an innovative post-sale service concept for all STEM products.

Hands-on experience to keep safety with STEM products makes a difference

Great curiosity among visitors and guests of STEM was aroused by the new range of steps related to public and medical transport. The new models of these components feature special perforations for snow and mud drainage, improving system grip even in particularly hostile environments. Visitors to the STEM stand also saw the new range of “Drawer Steps” designed to offer additional ergonomic and reliable solutions for medical operators.

This is the strength of exhibitions like RETTmobil: allowing exhibitors to showcase the quality, ergonomic design, and technological research of their catalog products. As well as revealing some previews of new products. Among these, the prototype of Spyke, a manual self-loading stretcher. As well as the new military systems developed by STEM MEDEVAC for emergency medical transport attracted attention, particularly the Revel-s support for light ambulances and the Stamina loading system for mine-resistant ambulances.

Welcome “STEM DEUTSCHLAND”!

During RETTmobil 2024, the Italian company also introduced “STEM DEUTSCHLAND,” a new operational entity led by Carlo Padrini and launched this year in Germany to meet the specific needs of the German market with tailored solutions and products. “This was the first year we appeared here at the fair as STEM DEUTSCHLAND,” said Carlo Pedrini. “Previously, we were present as Tecma GmbH and successfully distributed STEM products in Germany. Now we have grown together with STEM and brought many new products from Italy. We hope to continue being well received by our customers.”

On the commercial front, the STEM experience at the German fair was more than positive. “It’s an event that gathers very qualified professionals and operators in the sector,” says Nicole Nerborini, Sales Area Manager of STEM, “mainly Europeans, but also from Southeast Asia and Saudi Arabia. All meetings, presentations, and appointments at our stand were very satisfactory. With a double advantage: for customers who can get to know multiple manufacturers with a single trip. And for companies like ours that can showcase the entire catalog in three days.”

Ezio Menna: “A bigger fair for a growing market”

Enthusiasm and satisfaction for STEM’s participation at RETTmobil 2024 are evident in the words of Ezio Menna, the company owner and founder based in Parma. He commented on this latest edition: “STEM’s connection with RETTmobil is deep and dates back to the very origins of this important fair, which initially took place in Nuremberg. Even when it moved to Fulda, we have always been present every year. We are proud not only to present our innovative solutions but also to interact with other industry professionals. I am pleased to see that this year the exhibition has significantly expanded, and new spaces were made available for exhibitors. There are also new companies, which is a great sign of a growing market.”

See you at the next edition in 2025

In addition to participating in technical meetings and conferences organized within the German exhibition, the STEM team at RETTmobil 2024 also enjoyed more convivial moments. Such as the inauguration of the new branch within the company stand, with toasts and gastronomic tastings mixing “made in Italy” with local products.

Highly satisfied with this edition of the German fair, the RETTmobil organizers are already working on the next edition, scheduled for May 14-16, 2025, again in Fulda. And next year, STEM will also be present in Germany, always looking towards the future of rescue and emergency medical mobility.

We look forward to seeing you!
