Die automatische Bet\u00e4tigung wird durch das \u00d6ffnen und Schlie\u00dfen der T\u00fcr aktiviert; das Ausfahren erfolgt in weniger als einer Sekunde. \u00dcber einen speziellen Schalter kann der Fahrer au\u00dferdem die Funktion der Trittstufe direkt vom Fahrerhaus aus aktivieren oder deaktivieren. F\u00fcr mehr Sicherheit kann \u00fcber die Global-Service-App eingestellt werden, dass die Trittstufe nur bei angezogener Feststellbremse ausf\u00e4hrt.
